Manihi

Tahiti: Manihi accommodation Manhini is part of a string of islets known as the ‘Island of Pearls’ because the lagoon of Manihi is home to several black pearl farms. This is the most accessible island in the Tuamotus and also ideal for playing at being a castaway. It is a heavenly island fringed with palms, sandy beaches that are lapped by the calm blue waters of the lagoon. The dream like lagoon is 3 miles wide and 19 miles long and is an ideal location to take part in many watersports

There are almost daily flights from Tahiti to Manihi and the flight takes around 70 minutes.

Manihi Pearl Beach Resort

This is a small intimate five star resort with just 46 bungalows and over water bungalows. All bungalows have ceiling fans, showers, and other amenities that you would expect to find at a five star resort.

There are various water sports available at the resort and these include snorkelling, kayaks, and outrigger canoes; there is also a dive centre. Deep sea fishing, boat rental with a captain and pearl farm excursions can be arranged at an extra cost.
